Catetories: Other Main Dishes, Italian
Recipe: 1/3 lb bacon, chopped
5 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz dry spaghetti
1/2 c. chicken broth
1 6.5 oz can (chopped) clams
1 6 oz. can tuna, drained & flaked
half a 6 oz. can black olives

Heat water to cook spaghetti. Cook it.

In a wok or large skillet, cook bacon over med-high heat. When it starts to get crispy, drain all but about 2 T. fat and add garlic. When garlic just starts to brown add broth, clams (with or without "juice"), tuna, and olives. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover until the spaghetti's done. Drain the spaghetti and toss with mixture in skillet.

This is a fabulous recipe that I *never* would have tried were it not for Bryce. He picked it out and several times put it in his "I'll make one of these things for dinner" lists. I kept making other choices because it sounded too weird, but finally said... "Honey, if you want to make it go ahead, but I'm never going to pick it as my first choice." He did and I was in love at first bite. Yes, it sounds bizarre, but give it a try, it's really yummy!!
