If you've made dinner with friends and are wanting just a little nibble more to finish off the meal, make these and put them out with a few squares of nice chocolate and some fresh fruit - it's PERFECT!
3/4 c. nuts*
1.5 T. butter
1.5 T. brown sugar
Place all ingredients in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook until fragrant, about 5 minutes. Scrape nuts out onto foil to cool.
* Craggy ones (pecans, walnuts) capture the sugar well, but I also usually throw in some almonds or others because I LIKE them. |
