Asian - Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vegetarian (or easy fix)
Recipe:
50 pieces of dumpling wraps
1 c. chopped chive
1 b. chopped shrimp
0.5 b. ground pork
1 t very finely chopped fresh ginger
1 t salt
1.5 T soy source
1 T. sesame oil
Buy the dumpling wraps in Asian market and try to get the refrigerated(non frozen).
Peel shrimps and chopped them into 1/4 inch pieces
Filling: Mix shrimp and ground pork together and add in chopped chives and all the ingredients, stir in one direction until it forms a ball
Put about a table spoon of filling in the middle of a dumpling wrap, fold it, and seal the dumpling with egg white or water.
Boil water, when the water is boiling, put dumplings in the water.
Add a cup of cold water to the boiling water and wait until the 2nd boiling.
When all the dumplings are floating, take them out of boiling water and they are ready to eat.
Dipping souce
2 T. soy source
1 t. seasame oil
2 t. black vinegar (from a Asian grocery, highly recommended make in Taiwan)
2 clove of garlic chopped
