Chocolate Truffles

Recipe: From a New Year's Eve party at our friend Lydia's:

1 c. chocolate chips
2/3 c. heavy cream
up to one shot of flavored liqueur (rum, vanil stoli...)

Melt, stir, and chill 3 hours.

Spread on wax paper and freeze overnight.

Roll in balls with hands. While outside is still tacky, roll in your choice of nuts (almonds, pistachios, hazelnuts...) or cocoa or coconut or brickle bits.

Store in fridge for up to a couple of weeks.
