Recipe:
A take on a favorite of ours from Caffe Boa. These amounts are good for dinner for two or appetizers for more.
1 T. butter
1.5 t. minced garlic
10 oz. shrimp
3/4 c. white wine
1/2 c. marinara sauce
2 T. lemon juice
salt & pepper
fresh basil to garnish
bread, to serve
Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and saute until lightly browned (about 1 min.). Add shrimp and cook 1-2 minutes until it starts to turn white. Add wine, marinara, & lemon juice. Saute a few minutes to thicken, but do not overcook shrimp. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Garnish with basil.
Serve with good rustic bread or garlic toast to soak up the amazing sauce!
